i plot makeing indpeence. seresly. im a brit. the last time we threw of tirany, it was for oliver cromwel, who, as memorys served, used sudo to become a sudo monarce, was a total dick, and then died, his office (lord protctor) being replaced by....THE SON THE OF THE KING HE HAD THE HEAD CHOPED OF OFF!
thats lasting change. right there
still, briant moved more slowely then others, and crafted, imo, a beter system that isnt being, for example, crushed under super speical intrests. or at least, i dont think it is. |

first. dicator for life.
right, with that over with. i would incress tax on the top 10-1 percent of earners to 50 percent (for the top rate only, in line with the current system). revunes would be used to fund reserch and devlopment in to practical tech. i would have a team of boffins asses whats good and whats not for me. i would keep theortical funding at its current limit
off shor wind rigs would get a boost, and i would place a larger number in the north sea. i would also give tax brakes to improvement in insution in homes. i would up fudning for the army, and seresly propose putting troops in to gorgia as a messure to stem russian agrasion.
i would nuke holland i would put in a series thought as to contuning the uk ditrernt, and cancle the upgrade of triadant (although i wouldnt nesserly pull out of nuclear wepoens. the next gen of wepens is pointless. you have nukes. do you REALY need beter ones. the ones we have can already oblitrate around 16 citys, per sub, if not more (i cba to check my facts on wiki). when youve got that, you dont need more destrucive power).
i would contune funding the expantion of the royal navy, including the 2 carriers in production, and an extention of the current destory class, witch was cut to make way for the futer carrier project. aircraft carriers are a simblo of power, and 2 are in service to alowe the major carrirng power to be in rest repair and refit, and out at sea at the same time. i woulod proberbly also maintain the ilustruse class, and look in to harrire two, witch was apparntly a VTOL project that got canned. the destoryes would be kept becous there, quite frankly, the work horse of the navy, and nessery. if funding conflicted, i would cut a carrir to keep the destoryers.
canibise would remain class 3. dealing in all substences would be imposed with harsher senstinces. more money would be poored in to drug rhabltion.
i would seresly consider, pending boffines, introduceing natinal service. this would ease the manpower crises currently suffered by all 3 services, whilst instilling displine in to the men. failing this, i would introduse complusery miltery service (of a term of 5 years or more) as an altertive senstice to middle crimes and such.
i would hire beter mangers for the NHS. if nessery, i would head hunter with big sallerys around busnes. the NHS has had millions poored in to it by the goverment, and trusts arnt able to balnce the books. good mangment is nessery. ive heard there are some strang jobs about just to spend the money (first rule of a deparement, spend all of your budget, or you might not get it next year). i would like to see money spent on beds and training.
on the subject of the servies, key works would get a series pay revew. the avrage army grunt, for example, gets 22000 pounds a year. not much for getting shot at, if you ask me
this is all, of corse, a bit cloud cooko land. as win as my polcys are, the funding is non existant, saddly. apart from the incress in tax and the cut to the nucelar program, theres no money spend that isnt already being spent. and these are big changes. there are smaller things that make a big diffrence (heating alownce for old people comes to mind) that ive negleted. but there you go. i have boffines in my goverment for life (after my first act, of corse, as long as the queen dosent desied to over throw my goverment with her army and super secret sexy lady skills). money is what brings it all to earth. with the kind of money the us spends on defence you could proberbly get some realy big cuts in to defence to fund these things, but you would be funding over a wider area. also, the us has to negotiate the house and the sennet, who are shit, as ive been lead to understand
